Creating Content so You Don’t Have To

Melissa began her career as a professional actor then segued into writing/producing TV and film then developing/creating three children.

While taking a break from staffing to raise her kids. Melissa wrote PLAYDATE, a dark comedy feature about motherhood, and THE QUARANTEENIES, a stop-motion animated web series about a family living through the pandemic. The latter evolved into political content during the 2020 election and was distributed by Wake Up and Vote, Meidas Touch, Moms Rising, Univision which led to an Addy Award.

Melissa earned a grant from the Becoming America fund through The Pop Culture Collaborative to create THE LITTLETONS, a satirical, stop-motion animation web series about a middle-class, middle-American family living through cultural wartime.

  • The Littletons

    Through a grant from The Pop Culture Collaborative, in partnership with Gutsy Media and Sled inc, Melissa created a series about a family navigating our current culture wars. Episodes are distributed by Gutsy Media and Galvanize Action before the midterms 2022.

  • Playdate

    This dark, comedic thriller was born out of Melissa’s experiences in motherhood. Originally written as a full-length feature then chaptered into episodes for the web.

  • Mrs. Mungers Class

    Melissa developed, wrote, and voiced two seasons of these cult-favorite, micro episodes for Disney/ABC.

  • Political Quaranteenies

    The success of the original series led foundations to commission political ads during the 2020 election, across all platforms, garnering millions of views.
